Kicking It Listmaker Stylee

Happy birthday to Weasel! Yep, today marks the one year point of this humble blog. I could have chosen to have marked the occasion in a myriad of ways, but decided that a Listmaker style photo gallery from my recent trip to Sugarloaf USA over in Carabassett would do fine.

We went to visit our old friends Diana and Scott "Boss" Hogg over at their mountain pad. Despite the fact that I hadn't skied in 15 years, I had a blast. We even convinced my mother and her husband Mark to give it a shot....

did you photoshop that dog into the picture?

I wish my pets were digital, instead of cat shit eating, dead bird rolling, hair shedding, mud wallowing 3D canines.

Me staying vertical on skis is a photshopped image- nobody can believ that's actually real.

I love that moment when bloggers finally work out how to put pictures up. Just two things:
#1. you do realise that you've now blown your Mark Radcliffe-esque anonymity.
#2.Your mum still looks hot.

Glad to see someone actually enjoying this year's perpetual winter.

Actually, I can't complain, as I skied more this year (Nordic) than I have in the previous ten.

I don't recall the English making a big "splash" on the downhill circuit? Are you entertaining thoughts of a gold medal run in 2006 for the crown?

Jim, It's that old devil called class. Skiing is for the rich kids. Weasel and I grew up in a water borne environment (his parents being stationed in germany enabled him to ski a bit as a kid) and thus we found our teenage kicks in boats on narrow rivers. The only British medal hopes for any skiing events are likely to be curious expats by the name of Klaus and Jurgen.

Bowles- get your lenses checked: I've been featuring photos for 6 months dear boy. Also, I am so glad you are not my step dad you filthy animal.

Jim, your trip to Florida made me so jealous I had to do something (Listmaker, should you be reading this, meet baseball Jim. Jim, meet Listmaker, Mets obsessed man).

baseball obsessed, my kind man. baseball, not merely mets. in fact, the orioles roots go very deep, much deeper than the mets.
and i'm kind of getting very excited about the nationals.
