England Update, Part one

Hello Pals. Just a quick update on County Mouse and my vacation so far: after a couple of days in London we are now in the bosom of the family (part 1 of 4) in the leafy confines of St Albans, Hertfordshire. Very quaint and English it be too, all rosy cheeks and over-caffinated people zipping about. There will be St Albans pics soon enough, but I thought we would start with our grown ups weekend in London (as always, click to enlarge):

Waiting for Father Christmas under Canary Wharf.

In case you were wondering who to blame.

Aww, pretty.

The more flash, more cash Regents Street.

Beau Brummell points the way to sartorial elegance, while behind me Country Mouse rolls her eyes...

On the polonium 210 trail.

More to follow once blogger stops being troublesome and accepts my photo code. Shouldn't complain, its free and all, but damn its a buggy service, eh?

Bravo ! But I have a question. When did Country Mouse get down graded to County Mouse? Does this always happen when you cross the pond?

Getting used to the English keyboard layout takes a little time... £ keys where @ should be, etc...

Your wife looks gorgeous in that photo. Is it really such a picnic being married to you?

Or is it the thought of meeting a fat, old, white-bearded gent that makes her sparkle like that?
