Assimilated

I normally drive a nice, mildly zippy regular car: Japanese, nothing too funky or boxy, roomy without being huge, and with enough oomph to make believe I could burn a two-door off the line at the lights.

Said car is currently undergoing a little cosmetic surgery at the Ding King's Casa de Dent Removal and so I'm driving a loaner from the dealership that sold me the car. Behold, said loaner:

Those of you who know me personally will find the idea of me tooling around Maine in the above enormous truck hillarious, I wager. I know I do. I have yet to get the urge to shoot a deer but I did turn up "Glory Days" when it came on the stereo last week.

The main downside of this truck is that it has revealed my reverse Zoolander disability when it comes to driving. No matter how hard I try, I can't turn right into a parking space in this thing.

I get my car back Tuesday.

At least the color goes with your hair.

I have long nurtured a guilty desire for such a vehicle.
I have even folded the rear seats on the 106 to create a 'van' atmosphere.
I am jealous.

Is there a gun rack at the back of the cab?

The thing is so huge I haven't made it all the way to the back yet.

I felt pretty cool driving it to the dump. Once I pulled in to the post office the feeling was gone.
