England Update, Part 2

More of the London weekend:

Norwegian tree, Trafalgar Square

The view from Greenwich: we stayed by the big pointy building

A futile effort by mesel' to make my crap watch conform to the world's most accurate time.

Country Mouse, half in the east, half in the west

The Royal Observatory

Hooray for beer!

Christmas makes London think it is an Edwardian village

Blogger is doing it again: more later. Off back into the smoke to visit the British Museum today.

The British Museum is one of my favourite places on Earth, the atrium alone makes it worth visiting.

That's before you get to the Assyrian, Greek and Egyptian exhibits.

I never thought I'd say this, but thank God for the rapaciousness of the British Empire.

Has anybody in St Albans noticed she's got a bump?

MEP, if they did acknowledge it they'd have to give up their seat on the train, the miserable buggers.

Mondale, I shall hoist an Abbott for you, pal.

FR: bang on mate- I hadn't been there in 15 years and it is better than ever.

FYI - the Norwegian tree, in Trafalgar Square, was lit this year by Princess Ingrid, future Queen of Norway and potential mate to Low Rider.
