Rocked. And yes, if you liked doctrinaire egotistical Albanians at odds with real world challenges like MT, you would have loved former Stalinist dictator Enver Hoxa. MT was about as holy as Pat Robertson- she just had better PR people.
Christopher Hitchens makes some pungent arguments against the good mother in this interview (its a recap of many of his long-form bits on the Fraud of Calcutta). And don't get me started on that fraud Princess Diana....
I understand that she also had a cable show on Wednesdays.
Don't be too hard on yourself- as Hitchens points out nobody in the media wanted to take her on. A deranged octogenarian virgin just fitted too well with their concept of charity (the fact that she implicitly blamed the poor for their own fate suited their corporate and political masters too).
